I have a recycling club at my school and would like to connect on a national level. If there is some kind of youth recycling organization, I would like to join my school’s club to that, and if there isn’t, I would like to start one. Do you know of any national groups like that?

So far all I do is: recycle, donate clothes and other belongings to Good Will or Plato’s Closet when I dont want/dont fit in them anymore, and unplug my cell phone charger when it’s not in use. What are some other ways I can “go green?”
I have a few old flat irons, some curlers, cell phones, and a stereo system. All of these don’t work anymore and I don’t wanna just throw them out so do any of you know a place (or places) that I could possibly send these to so they can be recycled? Please and thank you.

My high school’s recycling club needs more members. There is some heav lifting involved, as we lift boxes full of recycled paper and dump them into the recycling bin. But i can’t think of ways to get people to join.
