Aug. 9 -- The Recycling Organizations of North America are holding a free webinar to look at market development after landfill disposal bans are implemented.

Aug. 3 -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has given the community of Iola, Kan., $768,000 to help make much-needed improvements to the aging municipal sewer system.

July 30 -- Perma-Fix Environmental Services Inc. has scheduled a conference call to discuss second quarter financial results for 9 a.m. eastern time Aug. 5, the Atlanta-based company said.
