My community does some recycling from residential pick up, but commercial establishments are still dumping pet bottles and paper like there is no end to it.

They have these really inconvenient and far away recycling centers in our town, but it is not practical. I think if we had something at our complex, people would be more apt to recycle. If I got it going at our complex, maybe others would follow…

I have joined the student senate at my community college (way out in Tucumcari, NM) and one of the concerns is that the school uses way too much paper, hence the recycling. But I can’t find any place near by that would recycle paper, what should I do? PLEASE HELP

My comunity doesn’t have a recycling program in place and I think it would be a great way to help the enviroment and get my kids interested in saving the Earth. I don’t know how to get a program started in our neighborhood. I see other neighborhoods where they set out special containers alongside of the garbage bags and then it is picked up. I would like to see that sort of program at work in my area, please give suggestions or previous expirience that has worked for your community!

I’m very interested in getting my community college to put in recycling bins throughout the building, but I’m not sure how to go about doing it. Would a recycling center be willing to give the college free recycling pick up, if not how much would it cost?

I work for a glass company and we just throw away so much glass on a daily basis, i have contacted what i thought to be a recycling center but i got no response from them. i would really love to start some sort of recycling program in my community for glass recycling as well as paper. when i lived in hawaii as a child i remember we had an awesome recycling program out there so if anybody has any suggestions i am all ears
