Recycling? Help the environment???
Wendy, this is why we have a “Space Program.”
Do you honestly think the US is the reason for the world’s environmental issues?
Do you think the one billion residents of India are separating their cans, plastic and paper?
Do you think the Chineses are concerned about the pesticides and/or type of manure they put in their crop that’s farmed beside the Yaghze (excuse the spelling)???
It takes a whole village…
Or in this case, the entire world to save itself from suicide.

Try using the mineral water bottles, its a good idea, I see many used this but you could make another great idea.. just a suggestions.

You could have different homerooms compete by seeing who can collect the most recyclables in a one week period. For example, the homeroom that collectst he most alumunimum cans wins a pizza party or something.
Contact your city or state environment department because they might have resources that could help you such as garbage bags, informational materials and they may have more ideas or things you coul d use for prizes. A lot of communities get grant money for this sort of thing and are looking for people to partner with for projects like this. It doesn’t hurt to ask.
