How Can I Get My City To Pick Up Recycling More Often?

I live in Miami, FL. They gave us a recycling bin, however they only pick up recycling twice a month. We then end up having to throw away products that should be recycled because we have no space in the recycling bin. I just want to know how I can get my city to pick up the recycling more often?

things like that are great to bring up a city alderman or during a town hall meeting. cities constantly do this type of thing(set up unrealistic recycling programs) in the mean time maybe get a bigger bin? or compost your paper for your garden. alot of what even have to recycle in the first place can be reduced by changing your shopping habits. good luck ….ps: homegrown foods have no packaging ;)

they getting less recycling, so we/govt have to make more awareness so that they get more recycle. and they can come everyday. as they see cost effectiveness.
